Mike Busch - ManagerMike Busch was introduced as the first
manager of the expansion Calgary Vipers March 2, 2005. He had spent
the previous two seasons tutoring under former Toronto Blue Jays
skipper Tim Johnson with the Lincoln Saltdogs, then of the Northern
League.
The Davenport, Iowa
native was a two-sport All-American (football and baseball) at Iowa
State University and was chosen by the Los Angeles Dodgers in the
fourth round of the 1990 draft. However that was not the first time
Busch had been drafted by a professional sports team.

Pat Daneker -
Pitching Coach
Pat was born and raised in
Williamsport, PA, home of little league baseball. He was drafted in
40th round by Boston Red Sox out of Loyalsock Twp. High School.
Pat opted to attend the University
of Virginia. He was drafted in 5th round of the 1997 draft by
Chicago White Sox. Pat played in the White Sox system at every
level including the big leagues (1999) where he posted a 4.20 ERA.
Pat also played AAA for the Chicago
Cubs and Toronto Blue Jays. He finished his 10 year career with the
Newark Bears of the Atlantic League where he was named Pitcher of
the Year during the 2005 season. Pat currently resides in Voorhees,
NJ with his fiancé Bree. |
