The Kansas City T-Bones continued to demolish the baseball with a 15-4 victory over the Calgary Vipers at Foothills Stadium in Calgary, Alberta. The T-Bones pounded out 22 more hits for now 29 runs on 41 hits in the two games so far. Anthony Boughner who had given up 22 runs in his previous two starts against Calgary, lasted eight innings giving up four runs while not walking a batter.
Kansas City picked up right where they left off last night's game in the top of the first inning. Rob Watson walked, Mario Delgado singled, and Al Benjamin crushed his second homerun in as many nights for a 3-0 lead.
Calgary got a run back in the bottom of the inning with back-to-back doubles from Darryl Brinkley and Drew Miller.
The three run lead was taken back in the next half inning by the T-Bones with a leadoff double from Patrick Arlis. Nelson Gord moved the runner up to third base with a sacrifice bunt and Aharon Eggleston plated Arlis with a sacrifice fly to make the score 4-1.
After two scoreless innings, Kansas City put up five more runs in the fifth inning. Benjamin singled and Calvin Pickering hit a two run shot to start the frame. Neb Brown and Arlis followed with doubles for Eggleston to bring in one with a single, Geoff McCallum another with a sacrifice fly, and finally a RBI double from Watson to cap off the inning at 9-1.
The T-Bones were back at it in the seventh inning with a single and double by Gord and Eggleston. With two outs Watson doubled down the right field line to score both runs and push the lead to double digits at 11-1.
In the bottom of the eighth Manabu Kuramochi singled and Shaun Ashman doubled to put two on for Miller. For the second straight game Miller smashed a three run homerun for eight runs batted in on the two games.
Kansas City continued to hammer the baseball in the ninth inning. Eggleston walked followed by McCallum and Watson singles to load the bases. Delgado brought in two runs with a single and Pickering hit his second two run homer of the game for the 15-4 advantage.

On Monday July 30th at 11:30 AM (MDT) the Calgary Vipers and Cardel Homes host a Media Conference for the Cardel Night Under the Stars coming up on August 18th and 19th.
